CATIA WC 9.1 WGM install

Before the install please make sure that you make the following folder
as it does not yet exsist
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\PTC


The following steps are those for installing 9.1 CATIA WGM:

Please log into whatever version of 9.1 windchill is most current
as of 05/06/2010 use: http://plmtest9.bdk.com/Windchill/
Go to Home
Utilitys 
Software downloads
accept the agreement
Select Windchill Workgroup Manager
	Select Run
	Select Start installation
	Set to english --> OK
	Next
	Next --> accept make new folder "yes"
	Select other as the place you would like your icons to be located
		Browse for the as it does not yet exsist C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\PTC
		Location that you previously made
	Select Next
	Install
	Done (do not select the start app box)
	
Post Install setup:
NOTE: THis MUST be done from the Client's log in, if you are doing his for
	Someone else have them log in

Go to the link that you created:
Start --> programs --> PTC
Run the Workgroup manager Program now located there
	Select CATIA V5 R18 --> register --> close
	Close the Verify window
	You will now be prompted to log into windchill
		User Name: mismith@naptg.com
		Password: ********* (network password)
	You must now chose a workspace for the user
		Ask what group he/she works for select that workspace
		Select OK
	you can now exit the WGM setup


Update CATIA Launch Script:
These instructions will set up an shortcut for launching CATIA 
with 9.1 WGM from the CATIA launch script.

In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\CATIAV5_R18\Catcode\CATEnv

Rename CATIA.V5R18.B18_GLOBAL.txt to CATIA.V5R18.B18_GLOBAL_8.0M050.txt

Copy \\towfilapps\apps\ENG Misc Apps\Windchill\Package Development\Windchill9.1M030\CATIAR18.V5R18.B18_GLOBAL.txt to C:\CATIAV5_R18\Catcode\CATEnv

Copy \\towfilapps\apps\ENG Misc Apps\Windchill\Package Development\Windchill9.1M030\CATIAR18_WC_TEST2.hta to your desktop

Test the installation by running CATIA from the newly created shortcut on your desktop. 
Set Windchill as the PLM system and start CATIA. You should see Windchill WGM 9.1 in the CATIA menus.
